Equipment that is used to protect people within sheltered housing or extra care housing. The equipment usually consists of, at least, a single control unit and speech modules within each property. This allows alarms to be delivered locally to a House Manager or to an ARC.

Housing for older or disabled people, usually privately owned, where you have your own apartment within a larger development, and support (such as help with meals or laundry) is provided to meet your own particular needs.
