Socitm Advisory are currently recruiting for a Change Manager to join on a permanent basis.
We are a highly respected and recognised organisation who offer digital and ICT advisory services to pan public sector clients. Our current portfolio includes several large, complex transformation programmes that require skilled change managers to facilitate organisational, technical and people focussed change.
Deployed as a Change Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of a range of transformative initiatives helping clients adapt to significant change to their working practice and process. You will act as the bridge between the technical subject matter experts and the end client and will therefore need to be an enthusiastic individual with exceptional stakeholder management skills. You will be a strong and clear communicator utilising traditional change management skills in high pressure environments. You will be a proactive, organised and result driven individual who uses their initiative to develop effective solutions to problems – always keeping the citizen at the front and centre of solutions. It is essential that you are an effective leader and educator with demonstrated experience in delivering projects under practical and logical methodology.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide support during the management of transitional arrangements, working closely with the programme team and the customer to deliver change without impacting BaU performance.
Design and delivery of internal change related communications.
Attend project, operational management and strategic “Board” meetings to report progress in a clear, concise and productive manner.
Support the consultation process with affected stakeholders, documenting actions as necessary.
Stakeholder management with key contacts throughout the organisation.
Plan and monitor all aspects of business change with clear link into the overall project plan.
To be successful for this role you will require:
Experience in the design and delivery of change strategies – this will include communication and training plans - with proven results.
Experience of establishing change processes in order to deliver quick but lasting results to the business.
Excellent communication and influencing skills allowing you to engage with stakeholders at all levels
Strong planning and organisational skills with an ability to deliver quickly and effectively to tight deadlines
History of work within the local government or the wider Public Sector (outstanding applicants outside of sector may be considered)
